Our API directory now includes 34 streaming APIs. The newest is the Furk.net API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the Tinysong API. We list 6 Tinysong mashups. Below you?ll find some more stats from the directory, including the entire list of streaming APIs.
In terms of the technical details, REST and JSON lead the way. There are 26 streaming REST APIs and 4 streaming JavaScript APIs. Our directory lists 21 streaming JSON APIs and 20 streaming XML APIs.
The most common tags within streaming are 22 video streaming APIs, 12 music streaming APIs and 6 media streaming APIs.
